I'm going to stop pretending. The Magician by Michael Scott has been on my iPad for weeks and I keep reaching for other things to read instead. I got a hard copy out of the library and it also sat untouched. While the fluff is enjoyable while you read it, The Secrets of Nicholas Flamel series just didn't catch my attention the way it captivated my sons. I couldn't keep up with them devouring a new book every few days and now that they aren't chattering about Sophie and Josh, I just don't have the motivation.
So I am officially DNF and throwing it back to the To-Be-Read stack, and we will see if this riff comes back around on the guitar.
