Do you know how hard it is to find sensible books about irritable bowel syndrome (and to a lesser extent GERD)?  Everything appears to fall into one of two camps.


  1. Take your meds and eat this boring, low fiber, low fat western diet
  2. he western diet is evil, a GMO-free, organic, and preferably vegan diet will solve all of your digestive woes 


There has to be a middle ground somewhere to find reasonable scientifically based (rather than pseudoscience based) information and suggestions of things to try!
