CSA & Garden Week 11

  

 

The melons are here! the melons are here!  And the beans are finally coming in from my pocket garden.

 

We got melons in both the vegetable and fruit share this week - so many that I gave several to my co-workers.  I also gave away the surplus bell peppers and last week's frying peppers which only 1 person in my family eats.

 

From the CSA

Bell Peppers

“Candy Sweet” Onion 

 Grape Tomatoes

Jersey Tomatoes

Jalapeño Peppers

Kale

 

Canary Melon

Cantaloupe

Sugar Cube Cantaloupe (the little ones) x 2

From the Garden

Zucchini (grown by a co-worker)

Purple beans

Peas

Pinto beans

and the occasional blackberry and cherry tomato that isn't even making it back into the house
