Three Parts Dead - Max Gladstone

Even better on the re-read than it was the first time around.  It was fun watching the foreshadowing and following the bouncing cigarette flame.

(I'd said I was going to provide a review when I reread this, but I'm not.  I'm slowly emerging from my post-election funk and starting to have the attention to read and enjoy what I'm reading.  But it's the year-end reporting season and work I just don't seem to have the bandwidth for a more complete review).
