Review: In The Water They Can't See You Cry

In the Water They Can't See You Cry: A Memoir - 'Amanda Beard', 'Rebecca Paley'

Adequate (or maybe competent) sports celebrity memoir. In The Water They Can't See You Cry, touches on some important themes such as the effect of learning disabilities and the discrepancy between the inner voice in a person's head and the outer successes that others perceive. However, the text is perhaps too much navel gazing and is overly repetitive.
